Odin is a widely revered god in Germanic paganism. Norse mythology associates him with wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet. Odin is the god of war and of the dead. He rules over Valhalla – “the hall of the slain”. All Vikings who died in battle belonged to him. They were collected by his female handmaidens, the valkyries. Odin was first and foremost worshipped by kings, warrior chieftains and their men.

Cold cast bronze is when real powdered bronze metal is mixed in with resin. It is then cast into a mould creating a very realistic replica of a solid bronze piece.
