Alexandre Bust (Houdin) by Atelier de Thiers

Stunning resin composite reproduction by French sculptor Jean Antoine Houdon.

Houdon sculpted Louise (5 years old) and her brother Alexandre (7 years old).

Those 2 portraits were shown at the 1777 Exhibition and many reproductions were done.

The portraits were bought by the Louvre Museum in 1898 for Louise and 1900 for Alexandre.

Inspired by antiques, exquisiteness and ornamentation.

Sought for its uniqueness, bought for its beauty and charm.

Judiciously passed to the next generation, heirlooms of the future.

Atelier de Thiers specialise in homewares, interior decoration, decorations and antique, French and vintage reproductions.

Primarily a wholesaler, Atelier de Thiers manufacture here in Australia as well as employing ethical companies based overseas.
